٥٨٦- إسماعيل بن عبيد، مولى عمرو بن حزم الأنصاري [٢] : حدث عن عمر وابن عباس. كان يسكن إفريقية، وله عبادة وفضل، غرق في بحر الروم في هذه السنة. قال عبيد الله بن المغيرة: قلت لسعيد بن المسيب: إن عندنا رجلا يقال له إسماعيل بن عبيد من العباد، إذا سمعنا نذكر شعرا صاح علينا، فقال ابن المسيب: ذاك رجل نسك نسك العجم.
