٤٣٧- الحارث بن مالك- وقيل: الحارث بن عوف، وقيل: عوف بن الحارث- أبو واقد الليثي: [١] أسلم قديما، وكان يحمل لواء بني ليث وضمرة وسعد بن بكر يوم الفتح، وبعثه رَسُول اللَّهِ ﷺ حين أراد الخروج إلى تبوك يستنفر بني ليث. وخرج إلى مكة فجاور بها فمات في هذه السنة وَهُوَ ابْن خمس وثمانين سنة، ودفن بمكة في مقبرة المهاجرين التي بفج، وإنما سميت مقبرة المهاجرين لأنه دفن فيها من مات ممن كان هاجر إلى المدينة.
