٣٥٩- عَبْد اللَّهِ بن أنيس بن أسعد بن حرام، أبو يَحْيَى [٤] : شهد العقبة مع السبعين، وكان يكسر أصنام بني سلمة هو ومعاذ بن جبل لما أسلما. ولم يشهد بدرا، لكنه شهد أحدا وما بعدها، وبعثه رسول الله ﷺ بسرية وحده إلى سفيان بن خالد بن نبيح الهذلي وأمره أن يقتله، فخرج فقتله ثم قدم فأخبر النبي ﷺ فأعطاه مخصرا- يعني عصا- فقَالَ: خذ هذه تنخصر بها يوم القيامة فإن المنخصرين يومئذ/ قليل» . فلما حضرته الوفاة أمر أن تدفن معه فِي أكفانه، ومات بالمدينة فِي خلافة معاوية.
