(بر (¬٥)): ذكر أهل بيته: أنه شهد حنينا مع النبي ﵇، وذكر ذلك ابن هشام وغيره، ولم يزل مع أبيه ملازما لرسول الله ﷺ حتى قبض. (نع (¬٦)): ذكر محمد بن سعد الواقدي أنه أدرك النبي ﵇، وشهد معه حنينا، وهو وهم، لأن الذي شهد حنينا أبو سفيان، وجعفر لم يشهدها، توفي جعفر في وسطخلافة معاوية (¬١).
