وفيها ولى معاوية مروان بن الحكم المدينة. فاستقضى مروان بن عَبْد اللَّهِ بن الحارث بن نوفل، وعلى مكة خالد بن العاص بن هشام، وكان على الكوفة من قبله المغيرة بن شعبة، وعلى القضاء شريح، وعلى البصرة عَبْد اللَّهِ بن عامر، وعلى قضائها عميرة بن يثربي، [٢] وعلى خراسان قيس بن الهيثم من قبل عَبْد اللَّهِ بن عامر . -
