وفيها سالت حرة ليلى نارا. فيما ذكر الواقدي [١] ، فأراد عُمَر الخروج إِلَيْهَا بالرجال، ثُمَّ أمرهم بالصدقة، فجاء عُثْمَان وعبد الرَّحْمَن وغيرهما بأموال، فقام عُمَر يقسمها فانطفأت. وَقَالَ ابْن حبيب: هذه النار خرجت بخيبر .
