    ١٤٦ - أَبْرَهَة بن شُرَحْبِيل بن أَبْرَهَة بن الصبَّاح الأَصبَحيّ الحِمْيري (١)، قال في "الإصابة" نقلاً عن "أنساب الرُّشاطي" أنه وفد على رسول الله ﵇ ففرش له رداءه وإنه كان بالشام يعدُّ من الحكماء ويروي عن النبي ﵇ أحاديث. انتهى. وأما جده فذكروا أنه الثاني والأربعون من أَقْيَال (٢) اليمن، يُدعى بشَيْبَة الحَمْد، ملك ثلاثاً وتسعين (٣) سنة. وفي "الإصابة" أيضاً أنه كان من الصحابة سكن مكة. وأَبْرَهةُ رجلٌ (٤) آخر من الأصحاب، أحد الثمانية الشاميين الذين وفدوا مع جعفر انتهى والظاهر أن شيبة الحمد ليس جده والله أعلم.
