٣٧- حسيل بن جابر بن ربيعة بن عمرو بن جروة: وجروة هو الذي يقال له اليمان، لأنه حالف اليمانية، وحسيل أبو حذيفة، خرج هو وحذيفة يريدان رسول الله ﷺ قبل غزاة بدر فلقيهما المشركون فقالوا: إنكما تريدان مُحَمَّدًا، فقالا: ما نريد إلا المدينة، فأخذوا عليهما عهد الله وميثاقه أن لا يقاتلا مع محمد، فأتيا رسول الله ﷺ فأخبراه [٤] ، وقالا: إن شئت قاتلنا معك، فقال: بل نفيبعهدهم ونستعين [١] الله عليهم، وشهدا غزاة أحد، فالتقت سيوف المسلمين على حسيل وهم لا يعرفونه، فجعل حذيفة يقول: أبي أبي، فلم يفهموا حتى قتل، فتصدق حذيفة بدمه على المسلمين .
