    (٢٩٨٧) أبو سروعة (¬٢) عقبة بن الحارث بن عامر بن نوفل بن عبد مناف بن قصى القرشي النوفلي حجازى، له صحبة. روى عنه عبيد بن أبي مريم وابن أبى مليكة. قد ذكرناه في باب اسمه عقبة (¬٣) على ما ذكره جماعة أهل الحديث. وأما أهل النسب: الزبير وعمه مصعب والعدوي فإنهم قالوا أبو سروعة بن الحارث هذا هو عتبة بن الحارث، وقد ذكروا أنه أسلم عام الفتح، وله صحبة.
