شبيل بْن عوف بْن أَبِي حية أَبُو الطفيل الأحمسي أدرك الجاهلية، قَالَ أَبُو أسامة ربما قَالَ إِسْمَاعِيل بْن أَبِي خَالِد: شبل، وَقَالَ لِي مُعَاذُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ (نا) ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ (نا) إِسْمَاعِيل بْن أَبِي خَالِد: عَنْ شبيل بْن عوف وَكَانَ أدرك الجاهلية، حَدَّثَنِي ابْن نمير نا مُحَمَّد بْن بشر نا إِسْمَاعِيل عَنْ شبيل بْن عوف وَكَانَ شهد القادسية، حَدَّثَنِي يوسف بْن يعقوب (نا) مروان بْن مُعَاوِيَة (نا) إِسْمَاعِيل عَنْ شبيل بْن عوف أَبِي الطفيل وَكَانَ يقَالَ قَدْ أَدْرَكَ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.

(١١٩٢) شبيل بن عوف بن أبي حية (¬١) أبو الطفيل الأحمسي البجلي، أدرك النبي ﷺ، وأدرك الجاهلية ثم شهد القادسية، لا تصح له رواية ولا صحبة، إنما روايته عن عمر بن الخطاب ومن بعده. قال إسماعيل بن أبى خالد: حدثني شبيل بن عوف، وكان قد أدرك النبي ﷺ وأدرك الجاهلية، وشهد القادسية.
