    يُوسُف الثَّقَفي (٠٠٠ - بعد ١٢٦ هـ = ٠٠٠ - بعد ٧٤٤ م) يوسف بن محمد بن يوسف الثقفي: أحد من تولوا أمر مكة من غير الأشراف. وهو ابن أخي الحجاج. قال صاحب " إتحاف فضلاء الزمن ": ولاه الوليد ابن يزيد بن عبد الملك إمارة مكة والمدينة والطائف (سنة ١٢٥ هـ ودامت ولايته إلى انقضاء دولة الوليد سنة ١٢٦ (٣) .
