    يغمراسن بن زَيّان (٦٠٣ - ٦٨١ هـ = ١٢٠٦ - ١٢٨٣ م) يغمراسن بن زيان بن ثابت بن محمد العبد الوادي، أمير المسلمين، أبويحيى: أول من استقل بتلمسان من سلاطين " بني عبد الواد ". بويع يوم مقتل أخيه (زيدان بن زيان) سنة ٦٣٣ هـ وكانت الدعوة في تلمسان لبني عبد المؤمن، وقد ضعف أمرهم وثار عليهم صاحب إفريقية " أبو زكريا الحفصي " ووصل بجيشه إلى تلمسان، فخرج منها يغمراسن بأهله وماله إلى الصحراء، وأرسل إليه الحفصي يدعوه، فلم يجب. وانتهى الأمر بينهمابالصلح. وعاد الحفصي إلى إفر
