    زَعِيم الدِّين (٠٠٠ - ٥٧٠ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ١١٧٤ م) يحيى بن جعفر (أو ابن عبد الله) بن محمد بن المعمر، أبو الفضل، زعيم الدين: فاضل، من الوجوه الأعيان في الدولة العباسية. كان صاحب المخزن للخلفاء المقتفي والمستنجد والمستضئ. وحج بالناس عدة سنين، والحكم إليه في الطريق. وناب في الوزارة، وتنقل في الأعمال أكثر من عشرين سنة. وتوفي ببغداد (١) .
