ابن غَرْس الدِّين (٠٠٠ - ١٠٨٦ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ١٦٧٥ م) ياسين بن محمد الخليلي، ويعرف بابن غرس الدين، وبالخطيب الخليلي: فاضل، من أهل المدينة. أصله من بلد الخليل (بفلسطين) ربي في حجر عمه " غرس الدين " بالمدينة، فنسب إليه. ورحل إلى مصر والشام. وتولى التدريس والخطابة والإمامة في المسجد النبوي، بعد وفاة عمه (سنة ١٠٥٧ أو ١٠٥٨) له " شرح " على ألفية العراقي في السير، مجلدان، و " شرح رياض الصالحين "للنووي، لم يكمله، و " تذكرة " شحنها بالفوائد، من نظم ونثر. اجتمع به العياشي (صاحب الرحلة) سنة ١٠٦٥ بمكة حاجا، ثم بالمدينة (١) .
