هداد بن عمرو (٠٠٠ - ٠٠٠ = ٠٠٠ - ٠٠٠) هداد بن عمرو بن حمّان بن هداد بن زيد مناة: شاعر جاهلي يماني. هو حفيد المترجم قبله. كان معاصرا للملك " زيد بن مرب " المتقدمة ترجمته. وأسره الملك " زيد " في خبر أورده الهمدانيّ، فقال من قصيدة: " تبدلت من سلمى وأسباب ودها ... بلادا بها الأعداء أعينهم خزر " وروى الهمدانيّ له أشعارا أخرى، لا يصح أن تكون من شعر اليمن في ذلك العصر. وقال إن الملك زيدا أطلقه مع أسرى آخرين وضمن لهم الكف عنهم وضمنوا له الطاعة (١) .
