    هاشم الخطَّاط (١٣٣٥ - ١٣٩٣ هـ = ١٩١٧ - ١٩٧٣ م) هاشم بن محمد بن درباس، أبو راقم القيسي البغدادي الخطاط: من كبار الخطاطين في العراق. تعلم ببغداد ومصر وتركيا. وعمل خطاطا بمدرسة المساحة العامة ببغداد (١٩٣٧ - ١٩٦٠) ثم رئيسا لقسم الخط العربيّ والزخرفة الإسلامية في معهد الفنون الجميلة ببغداد. وأصدر " مجموعة خطية مدرسية " بخط الرقعة (١٩٤٦) و " قواعد الخط العربيّ - ط " وتوفي ببغداد. وأقيمت له حفلة تأبين، جمع ما قيل فيها، في كتاب " ذكرى عميد الخط العربيّ - ط " ولا يزال في مساجد بغداد كثير من آثاره الخطية (٣).
