    ابن حِثْلَيْن (٠٠٠ - بعد ١٣٥٣ هـ = ٠٠٠ - بعد ١٩٣٤ م) نايف بن محمد بن فيصل بن حزام، أبو الكلاب، ابن حثلين: شجاع نجدي من زعماء البادية، من قبيلة العجمان. تحالف في أوليته مع مبارك الصباح سنة ١٩٠١ لمحاربة ابن رشيد. وتولى زعامة العجمان (١٩٢٩) بعد مقتل ابن عمه ضيدان بن فيصل. واشتركمع فيصل الدويش في اعلان ثورة " الإخوان " على الملك عبد العزيز آل سعود. واعتقله ابن سعود في وقعة الجهراء (٨ يناير ١٩٣٠) وسجن في الرياض وحاول الهرب من السجن (١٩٣٤) فقبض عليه ونقل إلى سجن بعيد في الأحساء وانقطعت أخباره. وحثلين، مثنّى حثل وهو في عامية نجد البطن أو المعدة (١) .
