ابن أَبِي العَبَّاس (٠٠٠ - بعد ٢٢٤ هـ =..بعد ٨٣٩ م) موسى بن ثابت أبي العباس: من ولاة الدولة العباسية. ولي مصر نيابة عن أميرها (أشناس) سنة ٢١٩ هـ وطالت أيامه، وسكنت الفتن في آخرها. وكانت المحنةبخلق القرآن لا تزال قائمة، فاشتد على فقهاء مصر وعلمائها إلى أن أجاب أكثرهم بالقول بخلق القرآن. وصرف عن الإمارة سنة ٢٢٤ ومدة ولايته بمصر ٤ سنين و ٧ أشهر (١) .
