    القاضي الهَرَوي (٠٠٠ - ٤٤٠ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ١٠٤٨ م) منصور بن محمد بن محمد الأَزْدي الهروي الشافعيّ، أبو أحمد: قاضي هراة. كان أديبا شاعرا، له رقائق. تفقه ببغداد، ومدح القادر باللَّه العباسي. قال السبكي: لا يعتري شعره عجمةمع كونه من أهلها. وجمع أبو الفضل الميداني (أحمد بن محمد) مختارات مما وجد عنده من كلام الهروي صاحب الترجمة، في كتاب سماه (منية الراضي برسائل القاضي - خ) في عشرة أبواب. وقال الباخرزي في ترجمته ما موجزه: أفضل من بخراسان على الإطلاق، يبلغ (ديوان شعره) أربعين ألف بيت، أوتي حظا وافرا من حياته وبلغ أرذل العمر من وفاته، وكان مغرى بالشراب، له خمريات وغزليات فائقة (١) .
