مُلْحِم المَعْني (٠٠٠ - ١٠٦٨ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ١٦٥٨ م) ملحم بن يونس بن قرقماس المعني: من أمراء (آل معن) بلبنان، وكانت لهم بلاد الشوف وما حولها. فرّ بعد مقتل عمه فخر الدين بن قرقماس (سنة ١٠٤٤ هـ ثم ظهر، وولي الشوف والغرب والجرد والمتن وكسروان. وأحسن سياسته مع السلطنة، وكان عاقلا حازما، فاستمر أكثر من عشرين عاما. وقاتله أحد ولاة سورية (سنة ١٠٦٣) فظفر في معركة بوادي القرن. وتوفي بمدينة صيدا، وهو في الإمارة. قال المحبي: ولكثير من الأدباء فيه مدائح (٣) .
