المُفَضَّل الحِمْيَري (٠٠٠ - ٥٠٤ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ١١١١ م) المفضل بن أبي البركات بن الوليد الحميري: قائد يماني، من ذوي الشجاعة والرأي. كان من رجال الحُرَّة الصُّلَيْحِيَّة (أروى بنت أحمد) قاد جيشها وولي تدبير دولتها (سنة ٤٩٢ هـ قال الخزرجي: وصار المفضل رجل البيت - الصليحي - والذابّ عن الملك، والمرجوع إلى رأيه وسيفه، ولم تكن الحرة تقطع أمرا دونه. واستمر على ذلك إلى أن توفي بعزان (٢) .
