    ابن حَبْنَاء (٠٠٠ - ٩١ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ٧١٠ م) المغيرة بن عمرو بن ربيعة الحنظليّ التميمي: شاعر، إسلامي. كان من رجال المهلب بن أبي صفرة. يكنى أبا عيسى. اشتهر بنسبته إلى أمه، وقيل: حبناء لقب غلب على أبيه لجبنه، واسمه حُبَين. وقال المرزباني: أنفد شعره في مدح المهلب وبنيه وذكر حربهم للأزارقة. وكان هو وأخواه (صخر ويزيد) شعراء فرسانا، وأبوهم شاعر. وكان المغيرة يهاجي أخاه صخرا. ومات شهيدا في نسف (بين جيحون وسمرقند) على مقربة من بخارى. وكا (ن أبرص (٣) .

    ابن حَبْناء (٠٠٠ - نحو ٩٠ هـ = ٠٠٠ - نحو ٧١٠ م) يزيد بن عمرو بن ربيعة، من بني زيد مناة، الحنظليّ التميمي: من شعراء العصر الأموي. كان له أخوان، هما: صخر، والمغيرة، وكلاهما شاعر أيضا، فربما اختلط على الرواة شعر أحدهم بشعر الآخر. وكان يزيد (صاحب الترجمة) قد خرج مع " الأزارقة " ومن شعره قصيدة مطلعها: " دعي اللوم، إن العيش ليس بدائم " و " حبناء " اسم أمه، نسب إليها، أولقب غلب على أبيه (١) .
