    مَعْديكَرِب بن جُشَم (٠٠٠ - ٠٠٠ = ٠٠٠ - ٠٠٠) معديكرب بن جشم بن حاشد، من همدان: جدّ جاهلي يماني. هو أبو قبيلة (شعب) قال الهمدانيّ: (وشعب: قبيلة من حاشد، وهم أصحاب السبق) . وفي القاموس: (الشعبي من شعب همدان) خلافا للصحاح، فإنه ينسب (الشعبي) إلى جبل باليمن اسمه (شعب) أو (ذو شعبين) (٢) .
