أَبُو القاسِم الأَعْمى (٠٠٠ - نحو ٢٢٠ هـ = ٠٠٠ - نحو ٨٣٥ م) معاوية بن سفيان الأعمى، أبو القاسم: شاعر راوية بغدادي. من تلاميذ الكسائي. كان معلم أحمد ابن إبراهيم (ابن حَمْدُون) واتصل بالحسن بن سهل، يؤدب أولاده. وعتب على الحسن في شئ، فهجاه بأبيات آخرها البيت الشائع: (يعطي ويمنع، لا بخلا ولا كرما ... لكنها خطرات من وساوسه) (٢) .
