    ابن مُرَجَّى (٠٠٠ - نحو ٤٥٠ هـ = ٠٠٠ - نحو ١٠٥٨ م) مشرف بن مرجى بن إبراهيم المقدسي أبو المعالي: مؤرخ. له (فضائل بيت المقدس - خ) منه مصورة في دار الكتب (٣١٩٤ تاريخ) ١٢٤ ورقة. لم أجد له ترجمة، غير أن المتأخرين تخبطوا في ذكر وفاته، حتى رجح أحدهم أنهاسنة ٨٢٨ أو ٨٣٨ وورد في معجم البلدان، في الكلام على (بيت لحم) مانصه: (قال مكي بن عبد السلام الرمليّ: رأيت بخط مشرف بن مرجا، بيت لخم بالخاء المعجمة) ولا يخفى ان مكي بن عبد السلام توفي سنة ٤٩٢ ومن يدري المدة التي وصل فيها كتاب مشرف إلى مكي؟ (١) . مُشَرَّفة (الدكتور) = علي بن
