مسعود بن عقبة (٠٠٠ - نحو ١٢٠ هـ = ٠٠٠ - نحو ٧٣٨ م) مسعود بن عقبة العدوي، من بني عديّ الرباب: شاعر. هو أخو ذي الرمة (غيلان) المتقدمة ترجمته. مات أخ له اسمه (أوفى) ثم مات (غيلان) فقال مسعود: (تعزيت عن أوفى بغيلان بعده ... عزاء، وجفن العين بالدَمع مترع ولم تنسني (أوفى) المصيبات بعده ... ولكن نكء القرح بالقرح أوجع) قال المرزباني: وبعضهم يروي هذين البيتين لهشام أخي ذي الرمة (٣) .
