    مسعود بن إِدريس (٠٠٠ - ١٠٤٠ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ١٦٣٠ م) مسعود بن إدريس بن الحسن بن أبي نمي الثاني: شريف حسني، من أمراء مكة. وليها سنة ١٠٣٩ هـ على أثر خطة دبرها مع (قانصوه) قتل بها سلفه (أحمد بن عبد المطلب) في سرادق قانصوه. واستمر ١٥ شهرا. وفي أيامه وقع مطر عظيم (سنة ١٠٣٩) ودخل السيل المسجد الحرام وسقط (البيت الشريف) وغرق نحو ألف إنسان. توفيبمكة (١) .
