    مراد بن ربيعة (٠٠٠ - ٠٠٠ = ٠٠٠ - ٠٠٠) مراد بن ربيعة بن علي بن مفرّج الطائي، من سلالة إياس بن قبيصة المتقدمة ترجمته: جدُّ، كانت لبنيه إمارة طيِّئ في العصر الفاطمي. قال ابن خلدون: كانت الرياسة على طيِّئ أيام العبيديين (الفاطميين) لبني مفرج، ثم صارت لبني مراد بن ربيعة، وكلهم ورثوا أرض غسان بالشام، وملكهم على العرب، ثم صارت الرياسة لبني (علي) وبني(مهنا) ابني فضل بن ربيعة، اقتسموها مدة، ثم انفرد بها لهذا العهد (أواخر المئة الثامنة للهجرة) بنو مهنا الملوك على العرب بمشارف الشام والعراق وبرية نجد (١) .
