مَحْيُو المَرِيني (٠٠٠ - ٥٩٢ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ١١٩٦ م) محيو بن أبي بكر بن حمامة المريني: أمير، من بني مرين في المغرب، قبل قيام دولتهم. كانت له رئاسة قومه بعد وفاة أبيه (سنة ٥٦١ هـ يقوم بأمرهم وينظر في أحكامهم، إلى أن كانت غزوة (الأراك) في الأندلس (سنة ٥٩١) فشهدها متطوعا مع جماعة من بني مرين، وعقد له أمير المؤمنين المنصور (يعقوب بن يوسف) على جميع قبيلة مرين، فأبلى في ذلك اليوم بلاء حسنا وأصيب بجراحات. وعاد إلى بلاده بعد الغزوة، فمات في صحراء الزاب من أثر جراحة (٢) .
