المُوَفَّق الإِرْبِلي (٠٠٠ - ٥٨٥ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ١١٨٩ م) محمد بن يوسف بن محمد البحراني الإربلي، موفق الدين: شاعر، من علماء العربية ونقد الشعر، والموسيقى. أصله من إربل، ومولده ومنشؤه بالبحرين، كان أبوه يتجر في اللؤلؤ من مغاصها. ورحل محمد إلى شهرزور ودمشق. ومدح السلطان صلاح الدين. ومات بإربل. له (ديوان شعر) ورسائل حسنة (٢) .
