أبُو مُحَلِّم الشَّيْبَاني (١٤٨ - ٢٤٥ هـ = ٧٦٥ - ٨٥٩ م) محمد بن هشام بن عوف التميمي ثم السعدي، أبُو مُحَلِّم الشيبانيّ: أحفظ أهل زمانه للشعر ووقائع العرب. أعرابي، ولد بالأهواز، ورحل إلى مكة والبصرة والكوفة وأقام في بادية العراق مدة. له من الكتب (خلق الإنسان) و (الأنواء) و (الخيل) (٢) .
