    ابن ناهِض (٧٥٧ - ٨٤١ هـ = ١٣٥٦ - ١٤٣٨ م) محمّد بن ناهض بن محمد بن حسن، شمس الدين الجهنيّ الحلبي: أديب، له اشتغال بالتأريخ. كردي الأصل. ولد بحلب، وأولع بالأدب. وسكن القاهرة فعمل (سيرة المؤيد شيخ) قال السخاوي: أجاد ما شاء، وقرظها له خلق سنة ٨١٩ وسافر إلى دمشق. ورقت حاله فاستجدى الناس بالمدح، وله نظم حسن. ومات بالقاهرة. ولعل من تأليفه أيضاَ (بستان الناظر وأنس الخاطر) (٢) .
