    ابن الخَيْضِري (٢) (٨٢١ - ٨٩٤ هـ = ١٤١٨ - ١٤٨٩ م) محمد بن محمد بن عبد الله بن خيضر، قطب الدين أبو الخير ابن الخيضري الزّبيدي الدمشقيّ الشافعيّ:قاض، من العلماء بالتراجم والأنساب والحديث. أصله من عرب البلقاء. ولد في بيت لهيا (من قرى دمشق) وقرأ بدمشق وبعلبكّ والقدس ومصر ومكة. وولي قضاء الشافعية وكتابة السرّ بدمشق. وتوفي بالقاهرة. له كتب، منها (الاكتساب في تلخيص كتب الأنساب - خ) الأول منه، بخطه في البصرة، و (اللفظ المكرم بخصائص النبي الأعظم - خ) و (شرح ألفية العراقي) و (طبقات الشافعية) و (البرق اللموع) في الأحاديث الموضوعة، و (الروض النضر في حال الخضر - خ) و (زهر الرياض - ط) (١) .
