ابن إمام المَشْهَد (٦٩٦ - ٧٥٢ هـ = ١٢٩٧ - ١٣٥١ م) محمد بن علي بن سعد الأنصاري الدمشقيّ، أبو المعالي، بهاء الدين المعروف بابن إمام المشهد: فاضل، من فقهاء الشافعية سمع بدمشق ومصر وغيرهما. ودرّس وولي الحسبة بدمشق وألف كتابا في (أحاديث الأحكام) أربع مجلدات، وجمع مجلدات على كتاب (التمييز) في الفقه للبارزي. قال ابن كثير: كان مجموع الفضائل، له تصانيف وفوائد حسنة. توفي بدمشق (٣) .
