    ابن غَطُّوس (٠٠٠ - ٦١٠ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ١٢١٣ م) محمد بن عبد الله بن محمد بن علي ابن مفرّج الأنصاري، أبو عبد الله بن غطوس: ناسخ، أندلسي من أهل بلنسية. انفرد في وقته بالبراعة في كتابة المصاحف ويقال إنه كتب ألف مصحف، تنافس فيها الملوك وكبار الناس. وكان قد آلى على نفسه ألّا يكتب حرفاُ إلّا من القرآن، خلف أباه وأخاه في هذه الصناعة. قال الصفدي: رأيت بخطه مصحفا أو أكثر وهو شئ غريب من حسن الوضع ورعاية المرسوم، ولكل ضبط لون من الالوان فالازورد للشدّات والجزمات، والأخضر للهمزات المكسورة، والأصفر للهمزات المفتوحة إلخ (٢) .
