أَبُو النَّصْر الخَطِيب (١٢٥٣ - ١٣٢٤ هـ = ١٨٣٧ - ١٩٠٦ م) محمد بن عبد القادر بن صالح بن عبد الرحيم الخطيب الشافعيّ، أبو النصر: من العلماء بالحديث. مولده في دمشق، ووفاته في (التل) من قراها، وقبره بدمشق. رحل إلى الحجاز ومصر. وولي القضاء في بعض النواحي. قال الكتاني: وهو الشخص الوحيد الّذي رأيته يحدث حفظا بكثير من الأحاديث متنا وسندا منه إلى رسول الله ﷺ على كثرة من رأيت من أهل المشرق والمغرب. وكان من فصحاء خطباء المساجد، ومن مدرسي الجامع الأموي في كبره. له (ثبت) في أشياخه ومروياته، و (مختصره)جزء صغير (١) .
