محمَّد رَشِيد الدَّنا (١٢٧٤ - ١٣٢٠ هـ = ١٨٥٧ - ١٩٠٢ م) محمد رشيد بن مصطفى بن سعيد الدنا: فاضل، من السابقين إلى العمل في الصحافة. مولده ووفاته في بيروت. كان يجيد التركية والفرنسية. أصدر جريدة (بيروت) سنة ١٨٨٦ (١٣٠٣ هـ وهو صاحب امتيازها الأول، قال الفيكونت دي طرازي: خدم بها الوطن وأبناءه على اختلاف مذاهبهم ومشاربهم، مدة ست عشرة سنة، بصدق اللهجة وإخلاص النية (٢) .
