    ابن دَانِيَال (٦٤٧ - ٧١٠ هـ = ١٢٥٠ - ١٣١٠ م) محمد بن دانيال بن يوسف الخزاعي الموصلي، شمس الدين: طبيب رمدي (كحال) من الشعراء. أصله من الموصل، ومولده بها. نشأ وتوفي في القاهرة. وكانت له دكان كحل في داخل باب الفتوح. له كتب، منها (طيف الخيال - خ) في معرفة خيال الظل، وأرجوزة سماها (عقود النظام فيمن ولي مصر من الحكام) شرحها وترجم لمن اشتملت عليهم، ابن حجر العسقلاني في كتابه (رفع الإصر - ط) . وشعره رقيق. كان صاحب نكت ونوادر ومجون، نعته صاحب عقود الجمان بالحكيم الأديب الخليع. له (ديوان شعر - خ) في المجموع ٤٨٨٠ في خزانة أيا صوفيا (٢) .
