المُسْتَعْلي الْحَمُّودي (٠٠٠ - ٤٦٠ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ١٠٦٨ م) محمد بن إدريس بن يحيى بن علي: آخر ملوك الدولة الحمودية، أيام ملوك الطوائف بالأندلس. بويع بعد وفاة أبيه (نحو سنة ٤٤٦ هـ تلقب بالمستعلي باللَّه. وكانت إقامته بمالقة. وخلع بمحمد ابن القاسم بن حمود (سنة ٤٤٩) وظل فيها إلى أن تغلب عليها باديس بن حيوس في السنة نفسها. فأخرج المستعلي منها إلى المرية. ثم استدعاه أهل مليلة (Melilla) إليهم، وبايعوه سنة ٤٥٦ فأقام فيها إلى أن مات. وبه على الأرجح خُتم عهد الحموديين في الأندلس (٢) .
