مُتْعِب بن عبد العَزِيز (٠٠٠ - ١٣٢٤ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ١٩٠٦ م) متعب بن عبد العزيز بن متعب الرشيد: من أمراء آل رشيد بنجد. خلف أباه على إمارة " حائل " و " جبلشمر " في أوائل سنة ١٣٢٤ وعقد صلحا مع ابن سعود (الملك عبد العزيز ابن عبد الرحمن) نزل له فيه عن حقوقه في " القصيم " وسائر بلاد نجد، واعترف له ابن سعود بالإمارة على " حائل " وأطرافها وجميع " شمر " واستمر أقل من سنة. قتله سلطان وسعود وفيصل أبناء حمود من آل عُبيد، من الرشيد (١) .
