عِيسى المُتَوكِّلي (١١٣٠ - ١٢٠٧ هـ = ١٧١٨ - ١٧٩٣ م) عيسى بن محمد بن الحسين، من نسل الإمام المتوكل يحيى شرف الدين الحسني: أمير البلاد الكوكبانية (باليمن) مولده ووفاته بكوكبان. ولي الإمارة سنة ١٢٠٢ هـ ولم يكن مستشرفا إليها، لقلة ماله. وكان فقيها، له نظم واشتغال بالأدب، وكُتبٌ صغيرة، منها " القول الفائق في تصحيح إمامة اللاحق " (١) .
