    عَمْرو بن أمرى القَيْس (٠٠٠ - نحو ٢٥٠ ق هـ = ٠٠٠ - نحو ٣٨٠ م) عمرو بن امرئ القيس بن عمرو بن عدي اللخمي، من قحطان: من ملوك الدولة اللخمية في الجاهلية، بالعراق. ملك بعد أبيه امرئ القيس، أو بعد عمه الحارث، واستمر نحو أربعين سنة. وهو ابن " مارية " التي يضرب المثل بقرطيها (٣) .
