عَمْرَة بنت النُّعْمان (٠٠٠ - ٦٧ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ٦٨٧ م) عمرة بنت النعمان بن بشير الأنصارية: امرأة المختار الثقفي. كانت من ذوات الأدب والحسب والنسب. ولما قُتل " المختار " جئ بها إلى مصعب ابن الزبير، فسألها عما تقول في زوجها، فأثنت عليه، فحبسها مصعب وكتب إلى أخيه عبد الله أنها تزعم نبوّة المختار، فأمره بقتلها، فقتلها ليلا، بين الكوفةوالحيرة. وللشعراء في قتلها كلام (١) . أبو
