عَمْرَة بنت الخَنْساء (٠٠٠ - نحو ٤٨ هـ = ٠٠٠ - نحو ٦٦٨ م) عمرة بنت مرداس بن أبي عامر السلميّ. أمها الخنساء: شاعرة كأمها. كان لها أخوان (يزيد، والعباس) فقتل يزيد بثأر قيس بن الأسلت، ومات العباس في الشام (سنة ١٦ هـ فجعلت ترثيهما وتندبهما، فأشبه حديثها حديث أمها من قبلها. وقد اختار أبو تمام بعض شعره عمرة في ديوان الحماسة (٢) .
