    ابن الأُشْناني (٢٥٩ - ٣٣٩ هـ = ٨٧٢ - ٩٥٠ م) عمر بن الحسن بن علي بن إبراهيم، أبو الحسن ابن الأشناني: قاض له علم بالحديث ضعّفه الدارقطنيّ. بقي من المروي عنه " جزء - خ " خمس صفحات، في دار الكتب المصرية (٢٥٥٤٥ ب) مولده ببغداد. ولي القضاء بنواحي الشام مدة، وببغداد ثلاثة أيام وعزل (٤) .
