    ابن مهزيار (٠٠٠ - نحو ٢٥٠ هـ = ٠٠٠ - نحو٨٦٥ م) علي بن مهزيار، أبو الحسن: فقيه إمامي، من أهل الأهواز. أصله من الدورق (بخوزستان) كان هو وأبوه نصرانيين، وأسلما. ونشأ عليّ في الاهواز.وتفقه. وروى عن " الرضا " علي بن موسى، واختص ب أبي الحسن العسكري (علي بن محمد) وصنف نحو ثلاثين كتابا، منها " الرد على الغلاة " و " التجمل والمروءة " و " المواريث " و " الملاحم " و " التقية " (١) .
