علي زَيْن الدِّين (١٠١٣ - ١١٠٣ هـ = ١٦٠٤ - ١٦٩٢ م) علي بن محمد بن حسن بن زين الدين، الجبعي العاملي ثم الأصبهاني: فقيه إمامي، يعرف بسبط الشهيد، توفي بأصبهان. من كتبه " الدر المنظوممن كلام المعصوم - خ " عدة نسخ منه، و " الدر المنثور من الخبر المأثور وغير المأثور - خ " و " السهام المارقة من أغراض الزنادقة - خ " رسالة في الرد على الصوفية (١) .
