    ابن الشهَاب (٧١٤ - ٧٨٦ هـ = ١٣١٤ - ١٣٨٤ م) علي بن شهاب الدين حسن بن محمد الحسيني الهمذاني في الهند، واستقر في " كشمير " وأسلم على يده أكثر أهلها. وتوفي بتيراه من أرض باغستان، ودفه في " ختلان " من أعمال بدخشان، بالهند، له تصانيف بالعربية والفارسية، فمن العربية " الرسالة الذكرية " و " منازل السالكين " و " شرح أسماء الله الحسنى " و " الرسالة الخواطرية " و " الخطبة الأميرية " (١) .
