    عطية بن صالِح (٠٠٠ - ٤٦٥ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ١٠٧٣ م) عطية بن صالح بن مرداس، أبو ذوابة، ويلقب بأسد الدولة، من بني كلاب بن عامر بن صعصعة: أمير مرداسي. كانت له حلب، تولاها استقلالا بعد وفاة أخيه " ثمال " سنة ٤٥٤ هـ وبعهد منه. وحدثت فتنة بين أهل حلب والترك المقيمين فيما، وأكثرهم من جنده، فخرج رؤساء الترك إلى حران وفيها محمود ابن نصر بن صالح (ابن أخي عطية) فأعانوه على مهاجمة حلب، فامتلكها سنة ٤٥٧ هـ ولحق عطية بالرقة فملكها مدة. وتغلب عليه شرف الدولة مسلم ابن قريش سنة ٤٦٣ هـ فانصرف عطية إلى بلاد الروم فمات في القسطنطينية (١) .
