المُسْتَظْهر ابن بُرْزال (٠٠٠ - ٤٥٩ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ١٠٦٧ م) عزيز بن محمد بن عبد الله بن برزال الزناتي، المستظهر: ثاني ملوك بني برزال في قرمونة (Carmona) وتوبعها بالأندلس. وليها يوم وفاة أبيه (سنة ٤٣٤ هـ وتلقب بالمستظهر، على طريقة ملوك الطوائف، وهو منهم. وحسنت سيرته، فانتظم أمره. واستمر إلى أن غزاه المُعْتَضِد بن عَبّاد، فجرت بينهما حروب كثيرة انتهت باستيلاء المعتضد على قرمونة، وخروج المستظهر منها بعد أن حكمها خمسا وعشرين سنة ومات بالشبيلية (٢) .
